Happy girls are the prettiest. I love this quote! And it was the perfect piece to go along with some new pics I got of my Olivia at her first pageant last month. I did this layout for a sketch challenge over at
Let's Get Sketchy, while also combining it with a couple challenges over at
A Cherry On Top (single photo of a single person, and a challenge to use hearts in the title work).
Here's the layout I created:
And here's the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:
I rotated the sketch and used the papers to stand in for some of the layering in the sketch, and used some washi in place of doilies (which I've never used). I just got a new stash of goodies from ACOT AND some new pics, so I was more than happy to scrap this morning! I used a mixture of new products from Echo Park (background ombre paper), Glitz (pink quatrefoil I got in a pack from HL last month), Chickaniddy (brad with flowers, enamel hearts, 3x4 cutaparts 2 tags), and Doodlebug (pink diagonal washi) along with some new sequins I bought, my first sequins purchase. With these papers, it wasn't hard to highlight this beautiful girl who lights up my life!
